EMPTIES
- John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Conditioner 250mL ($15.99) - I can't see myself switching to anything else anytime soon, this just works for my hair.
- Model Rock #W376 Lashes ($6.95) - I never pay this much for these lashes because I buy them in bulk for my kit generally, but yknow. I like these, I feel like they're flattering on a lot of eye shapes, they're easy to trim into a demi lash, and I love the clear band because it makes them really easy to apply. These are a pretty natural lash, but they're quite long so they still add something to a look. I'd definitely keep buying this style, Model Rock tend to make my favourite lashes anyway!
- 3INA The Nail Polish in 151 ($10.50) - This still has a little product left in it but it's not usable anymore, it's really thick and chunky and just not easy to use at all. The brush is too short for the bottle so I can't reach most of the product anyway which is frustrating. I love this colour, but this polish doesn't last and it's a pain to use so it's time to say goodbye.
- Ardell Demi Wispies ($10.99) - I used to really like these but I just don't love this shape on my eyes anymore. They're a very natural lash and they're pretty easy to apply, I just prefer my Model Rock lashes.
- Sinful Colors First in Line Base Coat ($4.95) - I don't really believe that this does anything because my nails still get stained when I use this. Maybe it smooths the nail a bit but I still have to do two coats of polish on top so it just feels like an annoying step to me. There's still a little left in the bottle but I can only get the product if I put the brush back all the way in 2-3 times per nail, so I'm calling it done.
- Ardell 120 Demi Lash ($10.99) - Again, these are okay but I prefer Model Rock. I like the shape of these because they flare out in the outer corners and taper in for the inner corners so they're really flattering on my eyes, but they're still quite natural. If I was going to repurchase a pair of Ardell lashes it would be these.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo Original 200mL ($10.49) - I liked this, but I didn't like the scent. It did a good job of getting rid of oil, but I could only really use this once and have to wash my hair that night, it wasn't something I could use for a few days in a row. I would repurchase this because it lasted ages, but I wouldn't call it a favourite.
- NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray 60mL ($14.95) - I like this, but it's not something I would buy again (I got this free actually at a NYX event), it gives a matte finish and locks my makeup in place but I always go over this with a dewy spray because I don't love a super matte look. Mixing this with a dewy spray does give a really nice "natural" finish though. I didn't like the scent of this and I feel like I went through it really fast. I'd rather just buy MAC Fix+ or other sprays that I love in the future.
