EMPTIES
- Help@Hand Makeup Pads 80 Pack ($1.50) - These are fine, they don't break down when I use them which is great, and they have a textured side which I like because I feel like it helps exfoliate a bit. I would buy these again but maybe look for a bigger pack.
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($39.00) - I don't think I would buy this mascara again, it's been a favourite of mine for a while but I hate that it flakes throughout the day and it's been making my lashes look really clumpy and gross lately. If this didn't flake, I would love it, but I just don't have time for this anymore.
- Bare Minerals Lashtopia Mascara (SAMPLE) - I actually really liked this, it was a great everyday mascara that didn't irritate my eyes at all and wore really nicely. It's super lengthening and I like how it separates my lashes, it's also great for the lower lash line. I would consider buying this in the future because even after being open for three months it's still performing well and not causing any irritation. This one really surprised me!
- Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Fair ($40.00) - I like this, I found that sometimes it would dry my under eyes out, but the past few months I haven't had any issues with it. I like the coverage that I get from this and it doesn't crease on me, but this colour was a little too dark. I think if I repurchase this I'll get Fair Beige (it's hard to know though because you can't buy it in store here).
- Swisspers Cotton Tips 400 Pack ($5.50) - I managed to use up two packs of cotton tips in the past two months which might seem a bit ridiculous, but I keep one in my vanity for taking off nail polish and one on my desk for cleaning up mistakes while I do my makeup. I don't know if I would buy this size again because it doesn't fit in my drawers, but it was good for having on my desk.
- Giorgio Armani Si Eau De Parfum 7mL (SAMPLE) - I really love this perfume, it's a warm vanilla scent that's really elegant. I do have a full size of this that I got for Christmas and I'm really excited to use it, I could see this becoming my signature scent. I like this more in winter, I think it's a little too dark for summer, but I will still happily use it year round.
- Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer 4mL (SAMPLE) - This didn't really do anything for me, I don't think it smoothed my skin that much or made my makeup last any longer. It was just like a basic primer that made my skin feel slippery. I absolutely would not pay Hourglass prices for this, but it's okay I guess. I also finished my 1mL sample this month.
- Essence Lip Liner in In The Nude ($2.00) - I don't think this lip liner is available anymore, but I did really enjoy it. I like the Essence lip liners because they're not too soft but not too firm, I've never had a cap fall off them, and they're really pigmented and last well. You can't get better value for money when it comes to these. So even if I can't buy this exact one again, I'll definitely go to Essence first when looking for lip liners.
