This was my first time using the Lilac You A Lot palette and I really liked it! I used Zoned Out all over my lid and in my crease as a transition, then deepened with Filtered on the outer corners. I found Filtered a little difficult to work with, it faded quite quickly so I think it's a shadow that needs a tacky base. Then on my lid I took Wake Me and a little bit of Cloud, I did have to spray these to get them to adhere to my eyes and I wasn't very impressed with them, but I think that comes down to me having already put down a matte on the lids. While these worked decently and I did like the finished look, I think I did the palette a disservice by setting my base, so I'll have to try these again with another method! I really like the tones in this palette though.

This was my first time trying the Fenty foundation and I liked the colour match but I didn't like the way it made my skin look - but that might have just been because I wasn't wearing a primer. On my eyes I used Moonlite and Starry Eyed in the crease with Clued In on the outer corners to deepen - I did the same on the lower lash line too. On my lid I just put Moonlite all over and then had Flexitarian on my inner corner. It was different having an all matte look but I think it was cute. I did my eyes first to avoid fallout because you definitely get some with this palette. I found Clued In to be kind of difficult to work with (I think it's a pressed pigment), it took a lot of building to get the depth I wanted and it didn't want to stick to certain parts of my eye, same with Moonlite. I think I need to try using an unset base or a proper eyeshadow primer. I'm sorry this photo is so ugly I really didn't feel good in this look because my base wasn't looking the way I wanted it to and you can tell I'm not happy.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
For this look I wanted to try to work with cool toned neutrals because I'm really not that comfortable with them, and I'm happy with how this turned out but I didn't like how the other eye looked because I brought the black too far across (I should have used a different brush). I used the shades Sugarcane and O Positive through my crease and under my eye, and packed O Positive all over the lid. I deepened the outer corner and crease with Bulletproof and put Soft & Gentle in my inner corner.

NOVEMBER 14TH
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C0.5
Essence Get Your Glitter On Glitter Primer
Colourpop Lilac You A Lot Palette
Colourpop It's My Pleasure Palette
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Teaspoon
Bare Minerals Lashtopia Mascara
I really like how this look turned out - I used the shadows over an unset base this time and I also think the glitter primer really helped. I started by taking Zoned Out and Ghostin' from Lilac You A Lot through my crease and under my eye, then I deepened the crease with Fan Fiction from It's My Pleasure. I further deepened the outer corner and crease with Filtered from Lilac You A Lot - I did have some issues with this shadow again, it's a bit patchy and dry and just doesn't want to build which is super annoying. I took Fan Fiction and Filtered on the lower lash line and then ran Do or Dough from It's My Pleasure really close to the lashes. On my lid I put Fluff (Lilac You A Lot) on the inner portion and then Do or Dough in the centre of my lid - these both looked so beautiful. On my inner corner I put Wake Me (Lilac You A Lot) and I wish it was lighter/brighter because it just blends in with everything else. If I did this look again I would use a different liner and mascara and have a lighter inner corner highlight. It's a shame the camera doesn't pick up on all the reflects from these eyeshadows because the shimmers have a stunning blue sparkle in them.

Colourpop Blue Moon Palette
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Untz
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Can't Relate
MAC Coconut Fix+
For my eyes I didn't set my primer and just went straight in with Brain Freeze from Jawbreaker as a transition, I used Moonlite from Blue Moon to soften the edges as well. I deepened with Fine China (Blue Moon), and then with Delicious (Jawbreaker), I took Tide Pool on my lid and put Lumi in my inner corner - both from Blue Moon. On my lower lash line I'm wearing Orange Juice (Jawbreaker).  I wore Can't Relate sort of like a blotted lip by applying it with my finger and tapping the product into my lips rather than swiping on the doefoot for full opacity.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C0.5
Colourpop No Filter Loose Setting Powder in Translucent
Kaleidos Makeup Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise Palette
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Untz
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Essence Get Your Glitter On Loose Glitter Primer
Essence Get Your Glitter On Loose Glitter in Starchild
This was my first time working with this palette and I'm a little disappointed to be honest. I used all the shades in this look and my favourites where definitely the teals, although I found the dark teal matte (Digiteal) hard to work with - it went patchy and faded quickly. I started with Forcefield in the crease and under my eyes and I love the way this shadow performed, it was easy to blend, pigmented, just great. Then I deepened with Digiteal and had to keep revisiting areas because it was a little patchy, I mixed Wired and Digiteal on the outer corner so that the gradient from orange to teal wouldn't get muddy but it just worked against me and it looks like garbage. Honestly, this photo doesn't do the look justice because the colours are way off but whatever. I cut my crease and packed Voltaic onto the centre of the lid and I did not like it at all, it was patchy and dry and just not good for what I wanted it to do, but I think it might be better as just a crease shade. I wrapped Shockwave in my inner corner and up over the orange to try and hide the patchiness, I also ran Tron along the lower lash line and it was really pretty. The shimmers are absolutely fantastic, I just had some difficulty with the mattes (except for Forcefield).

NOVEMBER 20TH
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C0.5
Colourpop No Filter Loose Setting Powder in Translucent
Kaleidos Makeup Futurism IV: VR Neon Palette
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Crssd
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Electric Daisy
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I liked how these shadows performed more than those in the turquoise palette I think - I only really had a problem with the yellow being sheer and hard to build. I love the green + red and the shimmer was fantastic as the Kaleidos shimmers always are - I love how metallic it looks on the eye. Overall I wasn't very happy with this look, but I think if I did something less all over the place I'd really like the palette, and I can see it being a great accent palette too.

NOVEMBER 22ND

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Lip Liner in Celebrity Skin
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Christmas Cookie
MAC Coconut Fix+
For this eye look I started with Cone as a transition, then used Licorice through my crease and under my eyes, I deepened the outer corners with Raspberry and put Snack on the lid. I'm wearing Soft & Gentle on my inner corners. I found Raspberry and Licorice to be quite sheer when I used them today which I've never experienced before with these shadows - I had to build up a lot and it still wasn't as pigmented as I would have liked. I absolutely loved this lip combo though! I really need to start using these more often.

I really liked this eye look, but I think I should have paired it with a lighter lipstick - Can't Relate probably would have looked better but I've been using it so much lately I wanted to use something else. For my eyes I started with Good Morning from Jawbreaker as a base and also used it to blend out harsh edges later on, I used Unknown from Spectral as a transition shade and also under my eyes. I deepened the outer corners using Sandbar from Ooh La La and also put Big Sugar on the lid - I had to spray this shade to get it to adhere properly. I just put Neffree in my inner corners.

For this look I used Blue Velvet as a base on my lid, then packed Delicious from Jawbreaker over it. I blended Da Ba Dee through my crease and then used Moonlite to blend it out so I had a nice gradient (both shades from Blue Moon). I used Virgin from Jawbreaker to make sure my edges were seamless before going back into Delicious to work on the blend between it and Da Ba Dee. I've got the Kaleidos highlighter in my inner corner and for my lower lashline I used Delicious closest to the lashes, blending out with Da Ba Dee and then Moonlite.
