November Empties

EMPTIES

  • John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Conditioner 250mL ($15.99) - I still like this, it's the best for my hair type so I'm just going to keep buying it.
  • Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom PocketBac 29mL ($3.99) - I didn't like this, I much prefer the Soap & Glory hand sanitizer. I didn't like this scent and it dried my hands out really badly, I also couldn't access all the product in the container so it just felt like a waste.
  • Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation in 110 (SAMPLE) - I didn't like this foundation, it felt nice on the skin, it was weightless and comfortable, but I hated the way it made my skin look. It clung to dry patches and emphasised texture and would pick up if a brush touched it which made setting my face very difficult. It's a real shame because I had such high hopes for this, it was a great colour match for me but it just didn't work out. I also didn't love the coverage, I felt like I had to build it up heaps or use a ton of concealer to cover my redness and I would prefer to use less product. This also just didn't wear well, it looked like garbage after only a couple hours of wear, it was just so disappointing.
  • Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion 225mL ($9.99) - I really love this moisturiser, this was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist and I really do think it's the best thing for my skin. It's not too thick so it's perfect for day or night. I use this on clients as well because it's so gentle, and I would absolutely buy this again, I just need to work through the other moisturisers I have first.
  • Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder 3.5g (SAMPLE) - I really liked this powder, it made my skin look really velvety and it didn't make my foundation oxidise at all. I would definitlely buy the full size of this considering it took me months to get through this little mini. This is just about the first powder that I think is different to anything else available, I really enjoyed it.
  • Lush Sleepy Shower Gel 250mL ($21.95) - I got this as a gift last year in secret santa at work and I thought I would really love it because the sleepy lotion is one of my favourite lush products, but the scent just isn't the same in the shower gel. The shower gel smelled more sour where the lotion is really lovely and warm, it wasn't pleasant. I also didn't love the texture, this was quite thick and it just wasn't my favourite thing to use, it took me nearly a whole year to finish this bottle because I just really didn't want to use it, I didn't like it.
Total value of products used up: $51.95
