Winter 2019 Wishlist

WISHLIST

Let's start off with things I've decided I'm not really interested in anymore - the Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in Peachy Love, I have enough peach blushes so I really don't need to buy this, or the MAC blushes in Peaches and Melba. I'm also no longer interested in the Lime Crime Matte Velvetine Liquid Lipstick in Squash because I know it would make my teeth look yellow, but I do think it's a really cool colour. I don't think I'll be picking up the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation because I'm sure there won't be a shade that matches me and I heard that it's actually being discontinued. I've been eyeing off the NYX Ultimate Brights Shadow Palette for so long but I just don't think I'm going to buy it, I'd rather have a really good quality rainbow palette so I think I'm going to save for some Sugarpill singles instead.

Since the last wishlist I bought a few Colourpop items, the pressed powder shadows in Take Flight and Bratty, Velvet Blur Lipstick in Creme Fresh, Ultra Glossy Lips in Steelo and Paper Moon. I also bought myself some eyeshadow palettes which I haven't included in any of my wishlists, but they're only recent releases. I bought the Viseart Petit Pro 5 Soleil palette as well as the Kaleidos Makeup Futurism 1 Sci-Fi Green palette and I'm really excited about both of them. I finally picked up my first Sugarpill singles because they had a BOGO sale, I got Love+, Buttercupcake, Flamepoint, Mochi, Tako, and Bulletproof and I am very excited. I'm also very excited that I finally bought the Dior Backstage Foundation because I finished off my sample of it and completely loved it, I bought it off Selfridges for a great price and I'm very happy about it. There have been other purchases of course, but I feel like these were the most noteworthy. I've gotten out of habit of making these posts so I thought it was about time I had a good think about what I really want to buy. Maybe I should start doing these on a monthly basis instead. 

CHEEKS

• Too Faced Natural Lust Bronzer - I don't know what it is about this bronzer but something is really drawing me in, it's a big pan size, the peacock design is beautiful, it allegedly smells like coconuts, and I like that it's got the lighter and darker shade so you could mix the two. I'm really interested in seeing this one in person before I decide if I really need it or not. I've been interested in the other Too Faced bronzers but because they smell like chocolate I've always passed on them, but this one might finally be the one for me.
• MAC Pro Painstick Palette - This is a rainbow flash palette, and I am extremely interested in this, I think this would be great for my kit because it just has everything I need! I want the Makeup Forever flash palette as well, but this will be easier to access so I'm more likely to pick this up and I'm really keen for it. 

EYES

• Menagerie Cosmetics Whalesong Eyeshadow Palette - I've been wanting to try Menagerie's eyeshadows but none of the colour stories of their previous palettes have really spoken to me, but this one is just beautiful. It's all blues and greens, I like the ratio of mattes to shimmers, and it's a 12 pan palette. I'm also interested in the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood Palette, but because I don't wear blue a whole lot I feel more comfortable buying this which has more of a variety of colours. But, I don't know how these shadows perform. We'll see how I feel about it once some reviews start coming out. 
• Give Me Glow Cosmetics Juicy Olive Palette - This palette looks absolutely beautiful, but I can't decide if I need it. It's six mossy, olivey green shades with two foils and four mattes. I'm really drawn to the tones but I do already have the Kaleidos Makeup Sci Fi Green Palette and Juvia's Place Tribe Palette. I don't think I have these colours, but do I need them? I don't know. The palette is going to be $30USD which is a lot for a six pan palette, but I am interested in it. 
• Linda Hallberg Spectral Palette - When I first saw this palette I thought, oh that's pretty but I don't like it as much as the Strobe Cosmetics Creepy Cute Palette. Then the review videos starting popping up and seeing the looks created with this really made me want it. I'm really interested in the shimmers in this palette, and the pastel purple and pink look stunning too. Again I don't know if this is something I need, and I'd probably prefer the Strobe Cosmetics palette, but I am very interested in this colour story. 
• Colourpop Creme Gel Colour in Venus - Venus is a new gel liner from Colourpop that is red, and it looks stunning. I love a good red liner so this is really tempting me, but I do own a red liner from Suva Beauty and I have Redrum by Jeffree Star Cosmetics that I can use on the eyes. But I'm a sucker for a gel liner!!! If this doesn't get good reviews I think I'll get an Inglot one instead because I know I like them. 
• Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in DTLA - Colourpop decided to re-release all their retractable liners just as I decided I wanted to start buying some more liners for my waterline, and the way they promoted them was so appealing. When I saw the bundle with all of them I'm not going to lie, I was going to buy it, but I thought about it more and decided that I didn't need all the colours. I don't know if the liners have been reformulated or if they've just been repackaged, I hope they've been reformulated because I do have a few issues with the one I own, but I'll have to buy one to see. DTLA is a navy that I think could be a cool alternative to a black.

LIP PRODUCTS

• Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Gloss in Wet Peach - Here's the issue. I don't like the packaging of these glosses, but this colour...... Jeffree..... please. I need it. It's a beautiful peachy gloss and that's just my weakness!!! I'm curious about the formula and if these come to Black Swallow or Princess Polly I'll definitely pick it up. 

TOOLS & ACCESSORIES

• XO Beauty Clear Lash Adhesive - I'm sick of using DUO because I hate the little squeeze tube, but this glue has a brush and it's also latex free so I feel like this just suits me a lot better. I never use my lashes because using DUO is such a pain, so I'm hoping this will make the process a lot easier for me.
