Products I've Hit Pan On #1

PRODUCTS I'VE HIT PAN ON

JANUARY
These are all the products in my collection that I've hit pan on, most of these are thanks to project panning but not all of them! I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can hit pan on in the coming year and that's why I've decided to start making these posts!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette - The pan that I have is in the shade Peaches 'n Cream, and it took me a really long time to hit pan on this shade because of how firmly pressed it was, and since I have hit pan on it I've sort of stopped using it because I was focusing on it for so long. I was also trying to hit pan on the shade Luscious which has a really significant dip in it but it just takes so long with these Too Faced shadows. I do really love this palette and need to bring it out some more because it's definitely been neglected since I hit pan.

NYX Avant Pop Art Throb Palette - This is the oldest palette in my collection so I knew I really needed to start working on getting some good use out of these shadows before this palette went completely bad. Once I did start to focus on the pink shade in this palette it didn't take me long to hit pan because it isn't a very pigmented eyeshadow so I could use lots of it, I was using it as an initial transition shade to help everything else blend easily and I hit pan much sooner than I thought I would.

Essence All About Nudes Eyeshadow Palette - This just isn't a very good eyeshadow palette, it's not very pigmented, the shadows are chalky and don't blend all too well, but it is usable so I decided to try and hit pan in a few shades. I managed to hit pan in the first two shades of the palette, the cream and light brown, the last shade in the palette fell out so that's why it's missing. These eyeshadows are very powdery and have quite a bit of kick-up so I was able to hit pan on these very quickly, I could probably finish this whole palette if I really focused on it and I even considered it as a pan that palette for this year but the eyeshadows just aren't that great and I don't want to have to commit myself to using average eyeshadows for a whole year.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Peach Goddess - This one took me a long time to hit pan on, but it felt like such an accomplishment when I finally did! I love this highlighter and it really didn't feel like a chore only wearing this because it's so beautiful. There's no way I'll ever be able to get through the whole highlighter, but I was able to hit pan and that's big for me. I did retire this one for a bit after hitting pan, but I really should go back to this one because it's one of my favourites.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone - I wanted to pan this one because it's just not the most flattering colour on me, my goal long term is to completely finish this, and I think that's achievable. It didn't take too long hit pan on this, but it did take a little while. If I really commit myself to this I'm sure I could finish it, and I'm even more motivated to now that I've hit pan!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent - I managed to hit pan on this one outside of a project, I just switched to solely using this after finishing my Maybelline Fit Me powder and stuck with it. This was also my touch up powder that I kept in my handbag for a long time so I was getting lots of use out of it even when I was using up my Maybelline powder. I don't think I'll have any problem using this one up in the coming year!
