PROJECT PAN UPDATE #8
I realised this month that I often jump the gun on products. I came to this realisation after removing the stopper from my concealer and the sifter from my under-eye powder on the 2nd of August. I easily could have waited, but no I "had" to do it then. The same can be said about my choice to repress my face powder so soon after hitting pan. Because of these poor decisions, I feel like I'm using more product than I should be, and that some product is getting wasted (especially in the case of the powders).
I need to learn to wait until products are near unusable to start modifying them. I guess because this is my first project pan I'm just excited and ready to experience things like repressing and removing stoppers. But from now on, I'm going to try and be more patient with my products and just accept the progress I'm making on them, even if it is slow.

Really glad I was able to finish off my E.l.f. powder, setting spray, Rimmel lipstick, and hit pan on my Essence palette this month! Decided to roll in my Nyx Avant Pop palette after hitting pan on the cream shade in the Essence All About Nudes palette because it's my oldest palette and it doesn't get the use it once did. I really focused on the Rimmel lipstick this month because as of September I would've had it for two years, and I felt like the scent was starting to turn. I'm so happy I managed to finish it off before it expired!! This past month I started using it as a cream blush and eye shadow to get some extra use out of it, and wish I'd started doing that sooner because I may have finished it early that way. But, I'm still glad I'm working through the oldest products in my collection and finishing them off. As a replacement, I rolled in my Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne lipstick, which is a recent purchase, but I feel like it is expiring so I would like to get some use out of it.
In September I would like to focus on finishing off my Maybelline concealer, and making a significant dent in Moonstone. Might find some other things to roll in because I'm getting a bit bored, but it is great to be able to choose whatever I like in my collection for certain categories.
