MY $1000 SEPHORA FANTASY WISHLIST
Tag by Emily Noel
My cart total ended up at $998, and not all of these are things I think I would actually buy, but if I had this kind of money to spend I think I'd pick them up.
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in Petal Poppin - $33
I already have one of these blushes but the colour is a little too dark for me and I know this one would be perfect. I love cream blush and pink blush is my absolute favourite at the moment! I'd love to pick up more of these but not many of the shades suit my skin tone which is a shame.
Fenty Beauty Match Stix Glow Skinstick - $39
The Fenty Match Stix have let me down in the past but I really want this one to be different. My issue with the other one of these I tried was that it was way too dry and firm and just not easy to apply, but this one looks like a different formula and the sheen is absolutely beautiful so I just really wanna try it out. I'm willing to give these a second chance, but if this one is the same I'll be devastated.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Captivating - $41
I really like my Tarte blushes but the two that I have are very nude shades and I'm just more drawn to pinks and peaches. I've wanted this shade in particular for years now and just never bitten the bullet.
Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau De Parfum 50mL - $152
This might be my favourite perfume of all time and it kills me that it's this expensive and this is the biggest size you can buy. I had a sample of this from when I went to a Sephora event and I just loved it but I haven't been able to bring myself to buy it because it's so pricey. I don't know if I'll ever buy this for myself, but I would ask for it for Christmas or my birthday.
Fenty Beauty Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner in Cherry Punk and Sea About It - $33 each
There is no reason for me to spend over $30 on a pencil eyeliner when the Colourpop ones work perfectly, but Fenty have some really interesting colours. Cherry Punk is a true red and Sea About It is a gorgeous deep blue. These are both colours I'm missing from my collection and I used to just use liquid lipstick when I needed red or blue but they've dried out so now I kinda need something like this. I've heard these wear really well and don't irritate the eyes which is important for me. This is one of the things that I don't know if I'll actually ever buy them, but I am interested in them.
KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Blush in Peony - $37
I'm really interested in these blushes because I love a matte blush, the colours look beautiful, and the packaging is stunning. Initially I was really drawn to the orange in the range, Poppy, but I know it'll be too dark for me and that I don't really like the way orange blush looks on me anyway. Out of the colours available, Peony looks like I would get the most wear out of it because it's a light pink shade.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation - $71
I'm not sure what colour I am in this range but I have 110C in my wishlist because it seems like the closest match. I've heard good things about this foundation and I'm always on the lookout for a new foundation because I'm yet to find something that's perfect for me. I like natural/medium coverage with a satin finish so it looks like skin, and I'm hoping this will be that for me. I tried the Fenty hydrating foundation and absolutely hated it so I'm just hoping for a better experience this time around. I'll definitely get a sample before I commit to buying though.
Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara - $44
I hate spending a lot of money on mascara, but the people who talk about this one really love it so I'd like to try it. I wouldn't buy the full size of this, I'd get the mini or hope for a mini as a point perk or something.
Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette - $93
I don't know what it is about Natasha Denona but I just want to try the brand so badly! This cheek palette is the one that speaks to me the most out of the range, but I think the darker cream blush and the powder highlighter would be too dark for me, and I don't love shimmery blushes. However, it is something I would pick up if I had $1000 to spend at Sephora. I just want to see if it's worth it or not. There isn't a Sephora in my city at all so I can't even swatch the products which just makes me more curious.
Pat McGrath Labs Mothership V Bronze Seduction Eyeshadow Palette - $195
I couldn't make this wishlist without including at least one Pat McGrath product. Again, I don't know what draws me to the brand but I really want to try something from them. I love the aesthetic of the brand and how they market their products, but I don't know if anything in their collection would really suit me or my makeup aesthetics. If I was going to pick a palette from the line it would either be Bronze Seduction or the Divine Rose II, those are the only two that have colour stories that really speak to me. Divine Rose II isn't on Sephora yet so I went with Bronze Seduction, but I think I would prefer the Divine Rose II because it's mainly shimmer shades and everyone says that that's what Pat McGrath does best, and I want to get my money's worth if I'm spending nearly $200 on a palette.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist - $38
I have plenty of setting sprays that I like and don't really need to try any new ones, but Tati used to rave about this all the time and it's always in the back of my head as something I would like to try out. I prefer hydrating sprays to regular setting sprays so I'm sure I'd like this, but I have tried a Pixi spray in the past and didn't love the actual spritzer. This is also kind of expensive so I might as well just keep buying MAC Fix+. Either way! If I ever see this in store it is something I would probably pick up or at least test out.
Zoeva Complete Eye Set - $130
I'm in desperate need of new eye brushes and I love the quality of Zoeva brushes so this was a no brainer for me. I don't need another makeup bag and wish I could buy the brush set on it's own, but it's fine. I love how this set has liner brushes, pencil brushes, packing brushes, and blending brushes, it really is everything you could possibly need and I don't think there's a brush in this set that I wouldn't use. They come out at about $11 per brush which is a great deal too.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick in Corail Intuitive - $59
I got a mini of one of these lipsticks (in the shade Corail Incandescent) in my beauty loop box at Meccaland last year and fell in love with it. The formula is glossy and comfortable, wears beautifully, and the colour I had was really flattering. I would love to try some different shades from the line but I don't know if I can justify spending nearly $60 on what's essentially a gloss stick when I can buy Colourpop glosses for under $10. I do love the formula though.
