June Wishlist

WISHLIST

June is a difficult month in the world of makeup because this is when American (and other northern hemisphere based brands) bring out their summer collections, and I just love the colours that are associated with summer. I want pinks, oranges, yellows, and reds all year round!!! Anyway, in June I always just want everything because it's all summery, bright, and fun.
As always, I'm going to recap what I've recently bought and what I'm not interested in anymore. I don't think I need the Colourpop DTLA liner, navy just isn't a colour I use a whole lot so I can't see it being useful in my collection. I'm also over the Lime Crime lip products, I've heard that the Velvetines are really drying and I just never reach for the Plushie that I own so why would I buy more? It's a shame because I think Lime Crime have some really beautiful colours and I think they're a cool brand, I just don't want to try any more of their lip products, except maybe the Wet Cherry glosses.

CHEEKS

  • Wet n Wild x Pacman High Score Blush Palette - I really don't need this, I already have plenty of blushes but this palette is just so cute. It's got little fruits on the packaging and the blushes have scores pressed into them!! It's peach and neutral tones and seems to be two blushes, a highlighter, and possibly a bronzer. I just think the collaboration is done really well! I'm interested in a few other things from the collection like the orange gloss and the powder brush, but if I was going to pick anything up it would be this palette. Hopefully it'll come to Glam Raider!!
  • Colourpop Blush Stix in Aloha, Splash, Mic Drop, Under Pressure, and Totes - I love a good cream blush, especially in stick form so when I saw Colourpop were launching a whole cream blush range I may have lost my mind a little bit. The colours I want are all peachy, warm coral-pink shades, I'll most likely start out by just getting one but I can't decide which I want the most. I think maybe Mic Drop will be the first because it's a colour that I don't really have in my blush collection already.

EYES

  • Colourpop Sweet Talk Pressed Powder Palette - This palette just looks so pretty, I love the peachy tones and I think this would just be a great everyday palette. All the looks I've seen from this palette in reviews have been beautiful and I'm just really drawn to it. I know I like Colourpop's eyeshadows and this colour scheme just really calls my name, which is unusual for a neutral palette.
  • Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette - I am so excited for this palette, it's the most interesting rainbow palette I've ever seen. I love the mixture of pastels with the deeper tones and the neon colours. I just love the colour story and looking at it is just so inspiring! The possibilities are endless with this palette and I can't wait to pick it up.
  • Coloured Raine Safari Raine Eyeshadow Palette - The colour story of this palette is so pretty, it's like the Juvia's Place Tribe palette but more bright. I'm really drawn to the reds and golds in this palette but of course I love the greens too. This is a very expensive palette, but now that you can buy Coloured Raine from Glam Raider I'm more inclined to try it because I wouldn't have to pay for international shipping. This palette (and all the other Coloured Raine palettes really) has had nothing but good reviews and I'm just really interested in it, especially the metallics.
  • Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadows in On A Whimsy, Lost and Found, and Howlin' - I've been really enjoying building my own little palettes with the Colourpop singles and I really want to make a pastel palette so I've picked out a few shades that would fit in there. Howlin' is a lilac shade that is really beautiful, and I don't have any cool toned pale purples yet, Lost and Found is sky blue which I wish was a bit more pastel but it's fine I still like the colour, and On A Whimsy is a metallic silver which is something lacking in my collection and I just think it would be a really cool accent colour with pastel looks.
  • Lethal Cosmetics Single Eyeshadows - I don't have any specific shades in mind from Lethal, but I'm really interested in trying the formula because they have some really beautiful and unique colours. I've heard good things about their singles and I'd just like to try them.
  • Too Faced Damn Girl! Mascara - The wand for this mascara looks exactly like the wand for Better Than Sex (my favourite mascara), so I'm hoping this will be like it but without the flaking. It claims it doesn't flake, but I want to try it for myself. If it doesn't it'll easily become my holy grail mascara. (After seeing a comparison to Better Than Sex it turns out the wand for this is much bigger so I don't know, I'm still interested in trying it).

LIPS

  • Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Fully Nude and No Offence - Fully Nude is a warm peach nude and we all know that's my weakness. This tone is different to anything I have, it's a bit deeper but it's still bright and just so pretty. I just love peach nudes so it's a given that I want this one. No Offence is a beautiful chartreuse colour and I really want it because I didn't pick up Venus Fly Trap last year and I really regretted it, although it is being made permanent now too! I've been on the hunt for a colour like this and I think it would be a great base for green eye looks or make a really cool eye liner too.
  • Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip in Blowzy - Blowzy is just a sheer pink gloss with glitter in it, and I have a weakness for these glosses. I know I like this formula, and the colour is just like all the others I own that I love.

TOOLS & ACCESSORIES

  • XO Beauty The Chic False Lashes - This style just looks really cute and wispy, I want to try some new lashes and this is a style I've never really experimented with.
