WISHLIST
I thought I should begin this post with a little update on my last wishlist post, summing up things I'm no longer lusting for/have bought already. I swatched the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in store and just as I thought, Cloud was too yellow so I guess it's just not meant to be for me and that foundation. I'm also not sure if I still want the Too Faced Chocolate Gold palette, a friend of mine recently bought it and while it is beautiful, I don't know how much use I would get out of it. I'm also unsure about the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder because I saw it in person and they don't have a true translucent shade, and I know from using the pressed version that the lightest shade is too dark for me.
I picked up a sample of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation while I was in Sydney, and on that same trip I bought the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder and my first MAC lipstick, the Powder Kiss in My Tweedy which I am VERY excited about. I also bought a lime green nail polish, but am still interested in those I have previously mentioned because the one I got takes three coats to be opaque. I bought a few pink creme polishes as well, so I don't think I need the Cirque Colors one I was interested in anymore. I did add the Beauty Blender Blender Defender to my collection as well, but it was a necessity. On a separate trip, I bought the Too Faced Rich & Dazzling High Shine Sparkle Lip Gloss in Social Butterfly because I just couldn't stop thinking about it and it had already gone out of stock once so I didn't want to miss out on it. I went to check it out in Mecca and they didn't have it which was disappointing so I just bit the bullet and bought it online - and it paid off, the gloss is beautiful!
As a birthday present to myself I bought the Juvia's Place Tribe Palette, as well as the Festival palette and one of their blushes in the shade Bella. They were having a 40% off site wide sale that I just couldn't pass up. I didn't include the Juvia's Place blushes or Festival palette in previous wishlists but they are products I've been considering for a while now. I also purchased the Ela Cosmetics sponge pack which has gone up in price - it's now $30 for the duo but that's still better than a Beauty Blender. They were also having a 30% sale off which is what pushed me to get them. My last birthday purchase was the MAC Boom Boom Bloom Highlight Powder in Fleur Real which hasn't been in any of my wishlists because it was really hard to find information about it, but I've wanted it ever since I saw the first sneak peek on Beauty News! As a birthday gift my friend Sian gave me the Too Faced Frosted Fruits Highlighter Stick in Pink Lemonade which I am so excited about! Most of my gifts were makeup and some were things that I'd been really wanting but hadn't made it onto a wishlist yet! They included the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle, Stila Glitter & Glow Iridescent set, some other Stila glitters, and an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light. I've been very spoiled and I'm so grateful to my friends for being so sweet and generous.
In early March I was lucky enough to attend the Miss Fame Masterclass hosted by NYX and got some products through the event! I ended up with the Epic Ink Liner which I'm really excited to try as well as some other products that weren't really on my radar, but I'll definitely use.
And now, for what I'm interested in picking up:

And now, for what I'm interested in picking up:
- Jouer Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer - I heard NikkieTutorials describe this as Shape Tape that doesn't dry out your undereyes and that is everything I'm looking for. I love the coverage Shape Tape gives but I can't use it consistently because it is too drying for my sensitive skin. I've never tried anything from Jouer but it is a brand I'm interested in, I'm just nervous about buying complexion products online because I've been burnt in the past.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in Peachy Love - I've heard really good things about the ABH blushes and this the colour story that speaks to me the most, and I feel like they're a really decent price for a trio.
- MAC Powder Blushes in Melba and Peaches - When I look at my blush collection I just feel like I'm missing a few things, especially peach and coral tones. Everyone raves about the MAC blushes and I would like to try them. Melba and Peaches are colours that I'm very drawn to and think I would get a lot of use out of so that's what I'm gravitating towards. They are both similar shades, but Peaches is more orange and a bit more vibrant than Melba.
- Ardell Double Up Wispies Lashes - I'm starting to become more interested in lashes but because I typically only wear lashes when I'm wearing winged eyeliner, you can't really see my lashes because of my liner which bothers me. So I want to start trying bigger lashes so I can actually look like I have eye lashes.
- NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel - Although I love my Lime Crime Bushy Brow Gel, it's pricey and difficult to get in Australia so I just want to give this one a try and see how it compares. It has a much larger wand than the Lime Crime one but that doesn't mean the gel won't be any good.
- Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadow in Take Flight - I'm really stuck in a yellow eyeshadow phase at the moment, and while I own yellows that I like I'm always looking for more because I just love wearing yellow. I would like to add some different tones to my collection though so I could create yellow looks with a bit more depth. Anyway! Take Flight looks super vibrant and beautiful and I just really want to try it. I have a free space in my Colourpop magnetic palette that this would fill perfectly, so I'm very tempted.
- Colourpop Velvet Blur Lux Lipstick in Creme Fresh - I really don't need any more lip products but this looks like a different finish than anything else I have in my collection. It just gives a beautiful soft matte velvety look to the lips and the colour of this one is a peachy orange nude which we all know is my weakness. This is probably pretty similar to my Powder Kiss lipstick from MAC, but I would still like to try it out.
- Lime Crime Matte Velvetine Liquid Lipstick in Squash - When I was in high school I was obsessed with making collages on Polyvore (RIP) and I can remember stumbling across the Lime Crime Velvetines through Polyvore, Squash being a shade that always stuck out to me. There's something about Lime Crime that I just find very appealing and I think they have cool products. Squash is like a mustardy pumpkiny colour and honestly it might look terrible on me but I just think it's so cool and grungey and I would love to own it.
- Zoya Nail Polish in Wendy - My favourite colour is like a salmony peachy coral pink and Wendy is that colour. I don't have anything like this in my collection and of course I'm drawn to it because it's my favourite colour!! It's just so pretty and I am still yet to try Zoya polishes but everyone loves them so I really want to try them out!
- Quartz Beauty Face Sculpting Brush - I saw a review of this brush and I just couldn't believe how well this diffused a contour, it just looked beautiful. I don't really have a good contouring brush in my collection so it ends up being a step that I skip, but I would like to experiment with it more and I feel like this is the perfect brush to do so with.
