2019 Project Pan Update #1

#TEAMPROJECTPAN UPDATE 1 

I did a bit of travelling this month so not all my items got the focus they deserved. While I was travelling I didn't use my Colourpop foundation or concealer because I wanted to bring products that I really love and trust just in case my skin acted up in the weather. I did consistently use my coloured products and other base products, but could have used my lip products more as well as my nail polish. Once I start school I think I'll be able to use my nail polish more consistently, and I just need to push myself to focus on my lip products, I'm sure as soon as I finish my project lip products there should be no problem though. But of course, this is only update one and so I shouldn't be expecting lots of progress just yet!

This month I decided to repress my powder because it was getting really difficult to use and was just damaging my brushes. Here is a before and after of repressing on January 26th:

This month I managed to finish off my Napolean Perdis nail polish, and I know it looks like there is still product in the bottle, but I just can’t reach it and it’s gotten so thick that I’ve decided to just call it quits with this one! It was a really old nail polish and it was getting really hard to work with so it's time to part ways with it. To replace it in the project I selected Demure by Revlon because it's a fun colour but it's still neutral enough and not too bright that I can wear it to school comfortably. I've panned a lot of nude polishes in the past so I think it's time I tackle a coloured polish! My goal for Demure is to completely finish it so this one might take a while.
I also managed to hit pan on Full Zip in the Colourpop Yes, Please! palette, and have decided to keep working on it and try to finish off the shade this year. Hopefully I will be able to hit pan on Champs soon too. Pictured in the table is the current state of Full Zip, below is what it looked like the day I hit pan.

I think for the first month of the project I've made much more progress than I expected! I would like to finish off the Colourpop foundation in the next month, as well as hit pan on Champs. I didn't realise just how much I had used of the foundation and concealer as I had sort of neglected them this past month, but I'm glad that I am making good progress!
