PROJECT PAN UPDATE #1

I decided to push this update up a few days because I don't think I'll be wearing a significant enough amount of makeup in the next three days to take the progress photos then.

So, this past month I've learnt a few things. I'm finding it easier to work through cream products than powders (which I expected), and think my goals for the project are very achievable. The only thing I'm really struggling with is the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, and I even considered taking it out of the project, but as my goal was to hit pan on at least one product, I'm going to keep going. I think I can hit pan on the shade 'peaches 'n' cream' if I use it as a base for all my eye looks and that way I still have the freedom to enjoy my eye shadow collection. 

For this update, I decided to start marking items so my progress is clearer in the photos.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea	NEW bottle! As I finished the rosewater I decided to add in the cucumber version on January 22. At this point, it was full.	My first finished product! As of January 22! Used about 10% of the product already! I don't love this one as much as the rosewater, and think the mist is finer on this one so I'm using more than I was before.
NYX Photoloving Primer	Basically full	Used approximately 1/8 of the product
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer	Used up about 1/8 of the product	Can see no new progress through the packaging but have used over an 1/8 now
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation ‘010 Porcelain’	Approximately ¼ left	Marked progress
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ‘15 Fair’	Mostly full – hard to tell how much has been used	Starting to settle in the tube! Have marked where I believe the product is sitting

Clinique Chubby Stick Blush ’02 Robust Rhubarb’		I'm really surprised I have visible progress on this one as it feels like I'm hardly using any product!
Maybelline Master Strobing Stick ‘100   Light-Iridescent’		I'm feeling like this one may be a struggle because I use so little of it each time I wear it, but I have made some progress
Maybelline Fit Me Set + Smooth Pressed Powder ‘120 Classic Ivory’	Basically in new condition, few wear marks	Dent is starting to form in centre of pan but is hard to tell in photos
Jeffree Star Skin Frost ‘Peach Goddess’	Some minimal wear marks	More wear marks, very little change

L’oreal Brow Artist Plumper Clear Brow Gel	Approximately halfway done	1/4 left, I removed the stopper and that was a big mistake. But as I'm getting too much product now, I have no doubt I will finish it soon.
NYX Wonder Pencil ‘01 Light’	Basically unused	I feel like this one is a bit of a cheat product because every time you sharpen it you lose a bit of product, but oh well.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick ’55 My Nude’	Some use	I'm finding this a little difficult because it's more of a winter colour and the formula is sort of firm so I'm not seeing much change in the size/shape of the bullet. I also don't reapply this often because it wears very nicely.
Colourpop Lippie Stix ‘Drop Top’	Some use	I'm really happy with my progress on this! It's very soft and I tend to reapply pretty often so I'm working through it quickly.
NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray	Basically full - hard to tell how much has been used due to opaque packaging	Over 3/4 of the product left (approx)
One Direction ‘Our Moment’ Perfume	Approximately 1/4 left	Very little left

A learning curve with the project has been finding new ways to use products so I feel like I'm getting the most out of them. This included doing someone else's makeup, using my cream blush as a base for powder blush (so I can have variety), using the wonder pencil or concealer as an eye base, and using my facial spray to adhere powders to my face before setting.
