First of all, I really hate this photo - sorry. I ended changing the lips because I just thought this was a little too dark so instead I wore my Colourpop Lippie Pencil in BFF with Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin. I'm not super stoked with my eye look, I just don't think mustards really suit me? I'm wearing Radioactive from Sci-Fi Green through my crease and under my eyes, I deepened this with Droid from Cyber Bronze but they're basically the same colour so you can't really tell. On my lid I've got Nuclear from Sci-Fi Green with Shockwave from Electro-Turquoise layered on the inner portion of the lid, I also have it in my inner corner. I feel like layering Shockwave and Nuclear really didn't do anything which is frustrating but whatever. I used Full Zip from Yes, Please! to blend out all my edges because I find the Kaleidos mattes a bit tricky to blend out fully on their own. The other thing I really liked about this look was my cheek combo! I forgot how much I liked the Milk bronzer and my Too Faced blush, I really need to start using them more.

I used Forcefield from Electro-Turquoise to create this, I wanted a round cut crease look on top but that doesn't work with my eye shape so I had to bring it down to the lower lash line, I tried to make a circle but it didn't really work. I still think the look is cool, and would be sick under black light because Grape Soda is UV activated.

For this look I used Puppy on my waterline and also did a winged liner with it, I packed Hologram from VR Neon over the liner on my lid to create a metallic liner but you can't tell in the photo. I probably should have used a glitter glue to adhere the shadow because I did get a lot of fallout throughout the day and I'm not sure how well it really stuck to the liner.

This look was actually really pretty in person, it was really glittery and dimensional and it just doesn't translate on camera which sucks! I used the lightest teal shade as a transition and deepened with the darker shade, then I used the teal shimmer over glitter glue on my lid and the white shimmer in my inner corner. I really like the way the shimmers worked over a glitter glue so that's how I'll use them in the future

I was originally just going to do a graphic liner using Grape Soda but it wasn't going as planned so I filled in my whole lid and then to cover some little mistakes added some glitter. I took photos like this with the colour on my waterline (Insomniac blending into Boots) + mascara but the liner looked patchy so I added gloss and then I noticed I'd had a massive smudge of mascara on my lid the whole time and I couldn't remove it now that I'd added the gloss so I decided to add more. I used a spoolie to add more smudges on top of the gloss and I love how it turned out! It looks like camo or animal print and I think it makes the look a whole lot cooler.

For this look I started by using Moonlite through my crease and deepening the outer corner with Fine China - both from Blue Moon. Then I took Delicious from Jawbreaker and further deepened the outer corner, I cut my crease and packed Lemon Drop (also Jawbreaker) on top. To blend between Lemon Drop and Delicious I used a bit of Mad About U (Blue Moon). Under my eyes I used Moonlite and Fine China again.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this look. For my eyes I used the green from VR Neon as a transition and under my eyes, then used San from Tribe to deepen the outer corners and crease as well as under my eyes. I packed Tutsi on my lid and just had Deception on the inner corner. I think I should've worn a green liner with this and maybe a shimmer on the lid instead.

December Empties

EMPTIES

• Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment 2mL (SAMPLE) - I liked this, it was a really fine grit but was really effective. I think it was a little harsh for me because my skin did feel a bit raw afterwards, but for a product that you only need to use once a week, I don't mind that. I don't think I would buy the full size of this just because it is ridiculously expensive, and something a little bit gentler would be better for my sensitive skin - but it was a really effective scrub. 
• Voeu Cleansing Facial Wipes Dry & Sensitive Skin 30 Pack ($1.80) - I didn't like these, they weren't wet enough and they really tugged at my skin when I used them. They also just didn't remove enough makeup for me so I'd have to do a second cleanse whenever I used them. I still have one pack to use but I wouldn't buy these in the future.
• Daiso Pore Care Pack ($2.80) - I didn't love these, they didn't really extract anything and they were painful to remove. I didn't like the scent either so it just wasn't a good experience using them. I wouldn't repurchase these in the future, it's pretty rare that I use a nose strip anyway so it just wouldn't be worth it. 
• Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau De Parfum 1.5mL (SAMPLE) - I really loved this perfume, but I can't see myself buying the full size because it's only 80mL and nearly $200 which is just too much for me. This lasts all day on me and I absolutely adore the scent, it's vanilla-y and sweet but deep at the same time, it's just beautiful. I'll definitely ask for this for my birthday but I wouldn't buy it for myself. 
• Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 15mL (SAMPLE) - I liked this, but sometimes it would sting my skin a little bit so I don't think this is something I would buy. Most of the time it was fine but there were a few ocassions where I had a problem with it. It's pretty hydrating but my skin stills needs more than just this because it is so dry. This would be good for oily skin I think though, it's just not quite thick enough for me. 
• Ela Cosmetics Beauty Sponge ($15.00) - I bought this in a two pack so I'm just counting half the price rather than waiting until both are finished. I got about six months use out of this sponge and I'm really happy with that! These are the softest sponges I've ever used and I just really like them, in the future I think these are the only sponges I will buy, they are a little pricey but they're still cheaper than Beauty Blenders and you can find discount codes for Ela Cosmetics as well so I think it's worth it. 
• Venus Secrets Anti Wrinkle Face Mask ($5.50) - I didn't find this super moisturising but it did feel firming which I liked. It fit my face pretty well and didn't slide around while I was wearing it which is great - it was a softer texture than other sheet masks I've tried, it felt like it could tear really easily. My Mum brought this back for me when she was in Europe so I can't get my hands on it here but it was really nice! I was hesitant to use it because it had donkey milk in it and I was just a bit iffy about it but it was actually a decent mask.
• Kenzo Flower Eau De Parfum 1mL (SAMPLE) - I actually kind of liked this which is surprising because it's a floral scent. I like this because it's not powdery, it's floral and light but it has warm notes as well. Apparently it's a mix of ginger, orange blossom, rose, and tonka bean. I think the tonka bean is what makes me enjoy this, but I don't like the rose notes at all. I wasn't unhappy wearing this, but it's not something I'd want to wear all the time y'know. I was really impressed with the lasting power of this too! It's a really good perfume if you're into florals. 
• Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly 15mL (SAMPLE) - I think I like this more than the moisturising gel, I like the texture of this and how quickly it sinks into the skin, and while I still need an extra boost of hydration, I think this is a good day time moisturiser. I don't think I'd ever buy the full size of this, but I would use samples. 
• Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm Watermelon 7.5g ($5.99) - I love Carmex, it's my favourite lip balm and it's the only one I buy now. This wasn't my favourite scent, but it was okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to repurchase this particular one though. 
• Colourpop No Filter Loose Setting Powder in Translucent 8.5g ($12.15) - I didn't love this powder, it was okay but it darkened my foundation. In comparison to other powders I've used it wasn't the best, but it did it's job. I wouldn't repurchase this or any of the Colourpop base products for that matter, they just haven't really worked for me.

2020 Project Pan Intro

FULL FACE PROJECT PAN - INTRO 

For 2020 I've decided to do another full face project pan, I will most likely roll things in to replace whatever I meet my goal on and I'll be doing this project for the whole year. I'm also doing a low buy for the year because I just have too much at the moment. I don't want to bring in any more highlighters, eye liners, or lip products and I have limited myself to only buying four eyeshadow palettes for the whole year. The other categories aren't really a problem in my collection so I haven't set restrictions for them.
